Stop the Epsom Mineral Waste Recycling Plant Planning Permission

Stop the Epsom Mineral Waste Recycling Plant Planning Permission
Why this petition matters
I feel it necessary to draw your attention to a planning application currently being considered by Surrey County Council and to ask you to sign this petition in objection due to the implications it will have for our the health of local residents.
The application relates to The Chalk Pit, College Rd, Epsom. The owners have changed usage to a mineral waste recycling plant and have submitted the application retrospectively.
This change in usage has brought increased noise from high vol of haulage traffic & machinery, but most significantly, dust pollution causing issues for local schools & residents, and the green belt environment.
The dust is known as silica (RCS). Learn more here:
https://www.hse.gov.uk/aboutus/occupational-disease/cancer/silica.htm
While too fine to see in normal light, it can lead to chronic breathing problems and lung disease.
The dust can travel up to 1km which directly affects Epsom College, Wallace Fields Infant and Junior Schools, Warren Mead Junior School and the Glynn Sports Pavilion at Priest Hill.
This application must be stopped & with that please can I request you sign this petition which will be added to an objection to the application.
This is green belt residential land where children play and the wider community exercise and should not be the home to an industrial scale mineral waste recycling plant!
