I am an astrophotographer and over the past few years I have noticed the light pollution levels ever increasing. Astrophotographers use a scale called the bortle scale. Farnham used to be 4.5 on this scale in 2016, we are now 5.3.

Driving home from work the other night when it was foggy I noticed all the street lights were leaking light up towards the night sky. This is having a massive impact on our wildlife as well as taking away our beautiful night sky away from us.

I would like for Surrey CC and Waverley BC to replace the housing of the street lights to full cut off housing
