Surf Coast Art Space is a small but vibrant arts hub in a shop on the Great Ocean Road in Anglesea.  The shop has been leased for six months (October '16 - March '17) by the Surf Coast Shire. The Art Space was booked out with programming by local visual and performing artists within weeks of being publicised.  Visitor numbers have been way larger than comparable spaces in Geelong, showing that there is a great appetite for a venue like this in Anglesea.  The local creative community see Surf Coast Art Space as a useful stepping stone on the journey to achieve a larger-scale permanent cross-disciplinary arts venue.  

Please sign the petition to convince the Surf Coast Shire to rent the Art Space property on an ongoing basis, (for less than the cost of mowing an oval!), and support local artists with getting their work into circulation and maybe even making a living.
