Due to one person, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, the implementation of prayer was taken out of our schools based on her ideological belief in atheism. That's all it took was one person, to impose a national change throughout our communities, so that's all it takes is one person to undue the damage that has taken place. That one person is you. Your one signature is all it takes to help turn our nation around for the better by getting prayer into our schools. 

Since the removal of prayer, the youth have turned to their own way and sense of justice via violence, defiance, ignorance and hate. Even our teachers and administrators have turned to the same means of resolution inducing a conflict within our communities that separates those that desire to aid in increased learning from those that require teaching; rather than bringing them together as our country so desperately needs. Communities across the nation were introduced to abominable sins until finally, our learning places have become places of havoc and chaos since our only true source of accountability and peace was removed by the Supreme Court in 1962. Together we can make this right again. 

The morals and principles of the United States were founded on God and scripture found via The Holy Bible as evidenced by the ritualistic occurrences that happen before our leaders get sworn into any office to take an oath, as well as by judicial proceedings. They lay their right hand on the Holy Bible, and are sworn in "truth" often ending in "so help me God.” When they lay hands on the Bible, they are making a statement of agreement with the Holy text, that they will adhere and abide by God’s word. So if we are a country that believes in and claims to answer to a higher power, why then, do we go against the grain on which it was founded by taking prayer out of schools- the very location in which a higher power and authority is needed most?

While we are living in a time of uncertainty, when the Covid-19 pandemic (pestilence) is running rampant across this world, it is evident that God (who is real) is trying to warn us and call his people back to repentance. In recognition of this, God Himself warns us and provides the solution via The Holy Bible in the book of II Chronicles, chapter seven, verses thirteen and fourteen as follows, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” God, who is the creator of the universe, promised that he would heal our land, if only we would humble ourselves and pray. The deadly virus that is killing thousands can subside if we turn from doing the wrong thing. So, let's take the next step towards our healing, starting with our schools. Let's right the wrongs.
