(en español below) For the sake of my sons, Pablo Richard Haan and Joshua Francisco Haan, as well as other parentally-abducted children in Mexico, I thank God and the Supreme Court of Mexico for the Court's final written decision that they have now published relative to my case. In a very strongly-worded 52-page unanimous ruling (available at http://www2.scjn.gob.mx/ConsultaTematica/PaginasPub/DetallePub.aspx?AsuntoID=179163&SinBotonRegresar=1), the Court ruled that the local family court judge in Playa Del Carmen violated the Mexican Constitution in her denial of my Hague petition to return my abducted sons to their home in the USA in accordance with the Hague Convention regarding International Child Abduction. They revoked the judge's decision accordingly. They also ruled that the Mexican Federal Court in Cancun errored in upholding the local judge's decision. The Supreme Court of Mexico has ordered my case back to the Mexican Federal Court in Cancun for that Court to correct their mistakes. I am also very thankful to the more than 9,000 people that have visited my website at www.EndAbductionsNow.org where I have shared the story of what has been done to my sons and I in Playa Del Carmen. I am also thankful to the more than 1,700 people from the USA, Mexico, and around the world that have signed my petition at https://www.change.org/p/supreme-court-of-mexico-return-pablo-and-joshua-haan-to-their-home-in-the-usa to have my sons returned to their home in the USA in accordance with international law that the Mexican government has committed to follow. My battle for justice for my sons and for their rights and their welfare is far from over. The Supreme Court's decision does not automatically mean that the Mexican Federal Court in Cancun will order the return of my sons to their home in the USA. Also, given the insanity of what has taken place in Playa Del Carmen as a result of a highly dysfunctional legal system in Playa Del Carmen, I have still not even seen my sons in more than 3 years since they were abducted in Puerto Aventuras in January 2013. (They are now 5-years-old and 4-years-old respectively – when I last saw them when they 2-years-old and 1-year-old.) This in itself is a violation of Mexico’s own legal commitment to comply with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (http://www.ohchr.org/en/professionalinterest/pages/crc.aspx) and this abuse of my sons and violation of their rights has continued to occur despite multiple court orders from Mexican courts ordering that I be allowed to see my sons and despite psychologists in both Mexico and the United States professionally diagnosing the actions against my sons and I as psychological abuse and calling for an end to this abuse. Also, the actual location of my wife and sons is now unknown and it appears that unfortunately actions are now being taken to evade Mexican authorities. For the welfare of my sons, please report any information regarding the location of my sons to myself or any of the legal personnel that are referenced in this post. My sons, like all children, need and deserve the love and care of both their mother and their father. I love my sons more than my own life and I will give up all that I have in this life to fight for the welfare of my sons and for their return to their home in the USA in accordance with international law. Ahora, la Primera Sala de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación le ha ordenado al Tribunal Colegiado con sede en Cancún, que emita una nueva resolución considerando los señalamientos expresados en su resolución y respete tanto lo establecido en diversas tesis en la materia, como en lo establecido por la Constitución Federal Mexicana y la propia Convención. Además, dada la barbaridad de lo que ha tenido lugar en Playa del Carmen, México, como resultado de su sistema legal altamente disfuncional, se me ha privado de ver a mis hijos por más de 3 años desde que fueron secuestrados en Puerto Aventuras en enero de 2013. Además, la ubicación real de mi esposa e hijos es ahora desconocida y parece que por desgracia ahora se están tomando acciones para evadir a las autoridades mexicanas. Para el bienestar de mis hijos, por favor reportar cualquier información relativa a la ubicación de mis hijos a mi mismo o de cualquiera de los personal jurídico que se hace referencia en este post. Mis hijos, como todos los niños, necesitan y merecen el amor y el cuidado tanto de su madre y como de su padre.
