Pollution levels in Delhi are in the hazardous category(>700ppm) already, before the Diwali pollution kicks in. Most environmentalists say that a state of emergency should have been declared in Delhi by now. The Government is paralysed under strong lobbyists from the Fireworks Industry. It’s time, we the citizens of this city take a step towards saving our city and ourselves. We need the Supreme Court to ban the sale of firecrackers ASAP
