It is unreal that WorkplaceNL uses Zero Tolerance policies!! I have a LOT of anxiety and PTSD history. Dealing with them has not been mentally helpful!
Even now I have to fight off an anxiety attack when someone checks the mail! Because I am waiting for another bullshit letter like we got the other day!
Lies, lies and more lies! Before it was written communication only it was EVERY TIME Dustin's phone would ring!
From MULTIPLE case workers who have called to cut his compensation WITHOUT A CALCULATION WHERE LOSS OF EARNINGS EQUALLED ZERO! Then listening to EVERY excuse in the book as to why they "closed his claim"! To the claim being "reinstated" for another short while until you had to have another arguement with them! Basically, telling them what they have NOT DONE and then them taking time to realize I WAS RIGHT!
To Melissa Burry TELLING US HE WAS HAVING A RECURRENCE! Basically, SHE WAS TELLING US HE COULD NOT WALK! COULD NOT PUT WEIGHT ON THAT LEG!
To Natasha Pennell telling us a letter from his physiotherapist had "no new information"! When it CLEARLY said that the information she used for her decision said the patella was tracking normally and the Physiotherapist CLEARLY had corrected her and said it was not!
To Charmaine Janes stating there was no history of an altered gait!
To an internal review that CLEARLY showed no disabling symptoms (recurrence) until May 2023! When Melissa Burry DEMANDED he report one falsely beginning on Sept 27, 2022!
To letters with NO RECURRENCE DATE LISTED! Just statements about "a recurrence was approved"! Ok.....WHEN? The date that Melissa first verbally told us (Sept 27, 2022), the date that was told to Theresa (Oct 4, 2022), the date that Colleen Meadus used on one of her letters and is recorded online (Jan 24, 2023) OR the REAL date where disabling symptoms returned (May 4, 2023)?
To Charmaine Janes using only the physiotherapist and GP when weighing the evidence of the link between the left ankle and Dustin's right knee injury! The most evidence to support that link was in the Chiropractor report THAT SHE HAD RECEIVED DAILY BEFORE SHE MADE HER FIRST DECISION ON THIS MATTER! BEFORE we put in an internal review that was SENT BACK TO HER TWICE! AND NOT ONCE DID THE INTERNAL REVIEW EVEN DEMAND SHE INCLUDE THAT INFORMATION! We did not know that information was not included for the original decision! The information for that came to light when a letter stated she only used the physio and GP! So, do WE have to PROVIDE THE INFORMATION TILL THE COWS COME HOME, AND THEN WRITE INTERNAL REVIEWS TELLING INTERNAL REVIEW THAT THEY HAVE NOT DONE THEIR JOB? So, basically WE ARE DOING THEIR JOB FOR FREE!!!!
To Colleen Meadus "closing his claim" when he was cleared to go back to work from his ACTUAL recurrence stating "back to his regular hours" YET she had NO CLUE as to WHAT HIS REGULAR HOURS WERE! And that he was at a permanent loss of earnings AND a permanent loss of earning capacity! She had NO information other than he was back to work to the "extent he was ALLOWED to work" prior to the May 4, 2023 recurrence!
To the most recent letter, with NO EMPLOYEE SIGNING THIS ONE AT ALL, that stated he was no longer approved for chiro for his "right knee"! WELL, I WOULD NOT SIGN THAT LETTER EITHER! CAUSE HE NEVER HAD CHIRO ON HIS RIGHT KNEE! IT WAS ALWAYS APPROVED FOR HIS LEFT HIP AS A RESULT OF THE RIGHT KNEE INJURY!
AND THE COMMISSION EMPLOYEES THINK THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE ANXIETY OVER MY ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FOUR YEARS OF THE ABOVE CRAP! THEY SHOULD BE ON THIS SIDE WHERE THEY ARE THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE BACKLASH THEY GET!
Apparently, their lies is acceptable and when you refuse to play along with the fabrication they SLAP YOU WITH ZERO TOLERANCE IF YOU GET MOUTHY! IF YOU STAY CALM, like we tried with Melissa Burry, THEN THE FILE JUST COLLECTS DUST ON THE DESK UNTIL YOU GIVE IN AND DOES AS YOUR TOLD!
IT IS SAD THAT I HATE CHECKING OUR MAIL NOW BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE ABOVE! And we put them on written communication SO I DID NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANXIETY EVERY TIME HIS PHONE RANG!
MENTAL HEALTH! THIS BUNCH DESERVES THE ANXIETY THEY HAVE ON THE JOB! Because they cause it for themselves! IF they did NONE of the above to cause mine or Dustin's zero tolerance tone and anger to be sent back, then ours would not exist WHICH MEANS THEIRS WOULD NOT EXIST!
MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS! BUT I REFUSE TO BE BLAMED FOR THE ROOT CAUSE OF THEIRS! THEY NEED TO GROW UP AND RECOGNIZE HOW TO STOP WHAT THEY START!
DO NOT CAUSE WHAT YOU CAN NOT HANDLE! AND THE ZERO TOLERANCE IS PROOF THEY CAN NOT HANDLE IT!
