The internal review sent in for compensation of the left ankle related loss of earnings of March 6 to March 13, 2023 has been referred back to Charmaine Janes once again.
This internal review still did not include the Chiropractor report received by the commission in April 2023 which supports the link between the issues in the left ankle and Dustin's right knee injury.
There has been zero mention of the denial of Dustin's physiotherapy, by the commission, that began in December of 2022 which lead to the reason why the need for him to compensate more on his left side began with.
This internal review was completely, 100%, unnecessary from day one. All Charmaine Janes had to do was actually weigh all the medical information provided to her. She failed to do this and the internal review is failing to hold her accountable for leaving this information out.
Is there any accountability for the employees who consistently leave out important information that has been provided to them?
It was returned this time because they are now waiting on information from a specialist that Dustin was suppose to see regarding the osteoarthritis in his left ankle. They originally linked this osteoarthritis to a broken ankle when he was a teenager. The broken bone was in his right foot and it was a growth bone. Lack of gathering necessary medical supporting documentation from the time of the break lead to the incorrect weighing of that evidence to begin with. And that was the only argument they had that supported their belief it was unrelated to the original injury. How is the report from the specialist going to change this? This is just wasting time and is being used as a method to deny the interest being owed on that compensation. Because they will use the report as a way of supporting it being covered, which makes it look like it was no fault of the commission.
Just wait and see if I am right. They really believe their mechanisms are not easy to see. When the reality is, their mechanisms are as transparent as a window pane just cleaned and shined!
