The commission denied my husband physiotherapy coverage beginning in December 2022.  By May 2023, he had a second recurrence as a direct result of their decision.  

Here is the video of how much pain he was in from that recurrence.  He was off work for 6 weeks.

The commission had reinstated his physiotherapy after this video was taken. 

They have sent correspondence to my husband that states they do have a supportive care medical aid coverage and he is continually being placed on acute care.  The medical evidence supports the need for him to have supportive care, especially since the second recurrence in May of 2023.

The decision to remove coverage of his physiotherapy also resulted in disabling symptoms occurring with his left ankle as a result of having to bare most of his body weight on the left side during that time.  This was 100% supported by medical documents they received by his GP and his chiropractor.  It was also supported by the history of an altered gait that was on his file.  We have further correspondence from the adjudicator that states there was "no history of an altered gait" in my husbands file.

I have a copy of his file.  And when I read the notes there was evidence to show signs of an altered gait existed all along.  Based on this evidence, one can only conclude the adjudicator did not read his file at all before making that statement.  

This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the actual written correspondence from the commission where their employees have lied about multiple things.  

The handbook for Injured Workers has many errors and parts that are not in line with the WHSC Act.

The law should be enforced by the Government, especially Minister Bernard Davis, Minister of WorkplaceNL.  

Why has the government created a law that they are allowing to be broken?

What kind of pride and support does their silence show for their predecessors who wrote this law?  

Why is none of the elected officials not showing complete and utter disgust at the actions of the commission based on Form 6, no application process, Section 55 and Section 56 alone?
