The Scarborough Junction Community, made up of local residents living along the St. Clair and Danforth Corridor from Warden Ave. to Midland Ave., sees a wave of development coming to our ward.  This will bring tens of thousands of new residents to our neighbourhoods and we will need new and improved parks to recreate in and connect us.

We the undersigned, support the creation of a rail trail along the abandoned railway tracks and hydro corridor from Pilkington Ave. to the Warden Hilltop C.C. and beyond to link with the Meadoway.  This would create a pedestrian, cycling and nature corridor linking multiple neighbourhoods, parks, transit, commerce and recreation.

We also support improvements to Oates Park and Danforth Park.

Help us have a stronger voice to politicians and city planners to provide the park infrastructure our community needs now, and in the future.
