The presence of the former dictator, Jean Claude Duvalier, in Haiti is a major challenge for the human rights movement in the whole world. The fragile Haitian State is under great pressures. Thus it is necessary to collect strong support from the human rights community from around the world.

     You may know that Human Rights Watch has said that there were between 20,000 to 30,000 people ordered killed during both regimes. HRW says prosecution for embezzlement and crimes against humanity is not hindered by statutes of limitation.

     Please sign our petition of support -- written in French, English, Kreyól , and Spanish-- for the victims of the Duvalier regimes who want to bring the ex-dictator in front of the Haitian Justice authorities.

     We, the Committee Against Impunity and for Justice in Haiti will maintain the necessary pressure with these petitions in front of all authorities, international, as well as Haitian.
