Parents and Citizens of the Gardner Edgerton community are concerned about sexually-explicit, pornographic, and inappropriate books and materials made available to students in schools. As of March 2023, 7 books have been deemed inappropriate for USD 231 school libraries and were immediately removed by the administration without a committee review, due to the level of sexual content. The KC Star wrote an article about them removing these books and how JUST ONE PARENT was the cause of this. By signing this petition you are showing how you are JUST ONE MORE PARENT or COMMUNITY MEMBER or KANSAN who agree with these decisions to remove inappropriate, sexually-explicit, and pornographic books and materials from libraries and classrooms.
