Trap - Neuter - Release is a human alternative to euthanasia for managing and reducing community dog and cat populations. TNR relies on sterilisation of the dogs and cats so that they don’t breed. 

It begins by trapping the community dogs and cats in humane ways and they will be taken to a veterinary clinic for neutering or spaying. They will also be “marked” so that they will be easily identified( known as ear tipping) where the pointed ends of their left ear will be cropped.

Once the community strays are recovered from surgery, they will be released back to their original environment.
