Support Trap KTCHXXN’s Liquor License Application
The Issue
When we embarked on the journey of opening Trap KTCHXXN in Birmingham, Alabama, we envisioned a vibrant hub where culture, community, and amazing food collide. Our goal has always been to create more than just a restaurant. We want to build a welcoming space that brings people together and adds something meaningful to Birmingham’s hospitality scene.
After months of planning, significant investment, preparation, and overcoming numerous challenges, we are now getting closer to opening our doors. Throughout this journey, we have been grateful for the warm reception, encouragement, and support we have already received from the community.
However, a critical part of our vision is now uncertain. Our application for a liquor license, which is an important part of the experience and business model we have planned for Trap KTCHXXN, is at risk. Without this license, we would have to significantly adjust the concept we have spent months developing and the experience we intend to offer our guests.
Why is the liquor license so important? It allows us to offer a more complete dining experience, broaden our menu and hospitality offerings, create additional opportunities for employment, and contribute to Birmingham’s growing restaurant community. It also helps us remain competitive and build a sustainable business in an industry where margins are already challenging.
We are reaching out to the Birmingham community and asking you to stand with us. By signing this petition, you are showing local decision-makers that there is real community support for Trap KTCHXXN and for the vision we are working to bring to life.
Your support represents more than one business. It represents support for local entrepreneurship, investment in Birmingham, job creation, and new spaces where people can gather, connect, and enjoy their city.
Please sign this petition and stand with Trap KTCHXXN as we work to bring our full vision to Birmingham.
Thank you for your support.
