Support Transition of Immigrant Families from Communist Countries

Support Transition of Immigrant Families from Communist Countries
The Issue
As someone dedicated to aiding battered and homeless families seeking asylum, I feel a deep personal connection to the plight of those struggling to transition from communist countries like Cuba and North Korea to the United States. These individuals have faced unimaginable hardships, endured hunger, and suffered through unthinkable torture. Transitioning to life in a new land is an uphill task filled with numerous challenges.
The United Nations Refugee Agency reports that approximately 25.9 million people worldwide were seeking asylum as of June 2019. Among these, countless suffer further trauma as they attempt to adjust to new environments, often without adequate support and resources. This petition seeks your support to make their journey smoother, 'to love our neighbor as ourselves' as quoted by Jesus.
Your aid, however small, matters. A contribution of even 1-5$ from each of us would aid tremendously in assisting these families on their path to a new life in the United States of America. This could mean the difference between a child going to bed hungry or well-fed and a family having a roof over their head or being left out in the cold.
I urge you to come forward and help our fellow human beings escaping oppression. Let’s together help them build a brighter, more secure future. God bless you, and God bless America. Please sign this petition to show your support.
