The Issue

We are writing as friends, colleagues, and members of the wider community to express our strong support for Mr Trần Quang Huy and his family in their application to remain permanently in Australia.

Over the past several years, Quang Huy has been an active, generous, and deeply respected member of the Vietnamese‑Australian community in Western Australia. He has consistently given his time, energy, and resources to support community events and initiatives—always quietly, sincerely, and without expectation of recognition.

Through his involvement with the Australia–Vietnam Talent Network (AVTN), Quang Huy has been a familiar and reliable presence at community activities, including the Vietnamese Spring Festival Xuân Quê Hương in 2024 and 2025. These major cultural events bring together thousands of people each year, celebrating heritage, belonging, and multicultural Australia. Quang Huy’s contribution helped make these events welcoming, vibrant, and successful.

Beyond volunteering, Quang Huy has also supported young Vietnamese Australians by opening pathways through his workplace, T&L Global Foods Pty Ltd, where he serves as Import Export Manager. By supporting internship and mentoring opportunities, he has helped young people gain real‑world experience, confidence, and a sense of direction—offering practical support to the next generation of Australians.

Professionally, Quang Huy contributes to Australia’s economy and international engagement. His work in agricultural trade strengthens connections between Australia and Vietnam, supports local businesses, and promotes Australian and Vietnamese produce across both markets. His efforts reflect the positive role migrants play in building economic and cultural bridges.

Most importantly, Quang Huy is known for his kindness, integrity, and commitment to community. He gives because he cares. His family shares these values and has built a life in Australia grounded in contribution, responsibility, and respect for others.

We believe that allowing Quang Huy and his family to remain in Australia would not only support a family who has already given so much, but would also be a decision that reflects the values of fairness, compassion, and multicultural inclusion that Australia stands for.

We respectfully ask the Department of Home Affairs to give favourable consideration to Mr Trần Quang Huy’s application, recognising his ongoing contribution to Australian society and the positive impact his family continues to have on the community.

By signing this petition, we affirm that Quang Huy belongs here, and that Australia is stronger with people like him.
