With personal land, time, and financial limitations, we would love nothing more than a local place where families like ours can bond over our shared passion. Throttle Therapy has proposed the development of an offroad tracks and trails park on a sprawling 711-acre site in Powhatan. This location, being remote, minimizes any impact on the surrounding community, with only a few homes located within a half-mile radius. The need for such a park is undeniable; it will not only provide a recreational outlet for families and outdoor enthusiasts but also could potentially boost local businesses through increased visitation and community engagement. Moreover, the proposed park promises to promote safe, controlled, and environmentally responsible offroad riding. In areas where similar parks have been established, there has been a notable decrease in illegal and unsafe riding activities, creating safer environments for both riders and non-riders alike.
