Next Step in Organizing NASS: Help Us Collect 150–175 Signed SF-1187 Forms!

We are moving forward with our effort to organize National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) employees, and we need everyone’s help!

Here’s what we are asking NASS employees to do:

Print copies of the NFFE SF-1187 membership/enrollment form.
Place copies in your office break room or another appropriate location where fellow employees can access them.
Encourage interested, eligible coworkers to review and complete the forms.
Once signed, email the completed forms directly to:

Our initial goal is approximately 150–175 signed SF-1187 forms.

A few important things to understand:

Signing an SF-1187 is not a vote in a union election.
These forms help demonstrate employee support.
The FLRA (Federal Labor Relations Authority) must determine whether the representation petition meets its requirements.
We need participation from NASS offices across the country. Whether you can distribute five forms or twenty, every effort helps.

Please help spread the word in your office. Talk to coworkers, make forms accessible, and help us reach our initial signature goal.

NASS employees deserve a collective voice in decisions affecting our jobs, our agency, and the future of agricultural statistics.
