Update: NFFE Has Begun Reaching Out to USDA Employees!

Great news! NFFE has begun reaching out to USDA employees directly through their official government email accounts as we work toward organizing NASS employees.

This is an important step forward in our effort to give National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) employees a stronger collective voice.

NASS has gone from approximately 800 employees at the beginning of 2025 to around 450 today. The loss of hundreds of employees has placed an enormous burden on the remaining workforce, with many employees taking on multiple responsibilities while working to maintain the quality and reliability of our nation’s agricultural statistics.
