Bees Not Blacktop: 206 & Counting

The Issue

For more than 45 years, the road above has sat empty, collected trash, and contributed to storm-water pollution in the Mississippi. The Talmage Triangle Rain Garden Project proposes expanding the garden to the right (west) by removing unwanted asphalt. Former blacktop area will become a home for pollinators and a welcoming space for people and wildlife.

Join the 168 paper signatories already asking Council Members Payne and Wonsley to advocate for the Talmage Triangle Rain Garden Project.
