There has never been a more important time to come together to #BuildABetterFuture and move Australia beyond coal, oil and gas to 100% renewable energy and climate justice for all! 

In recent months, our communities have been tested in ways we never have been before. COVID-19 has caused a global health and economic crisis with tragic consequences; overflowing hospitals and job losses in the millions. Yet our ability to work together to slow the spread of Coronavirus shows just how powerful we are when we act collectively. 

Now is the time to build on the messages of hope, justice and collective action by coming together on May15 for our #BuildABetterFuture Interactive Livestream!

But whilst we come together to build a stronger climate justice movement, the fossil fuel industry is working over time to consolidate their power and influence to dig up and burn more coal, oil and gas that puts all of us at risk. 

We can’t let our politicians help them to do this when our future is already on the line. Our Government needs to act to protect us from the climate crisis by keeping fossil fuels in the ground and getting on with the job of building clean energy. 

To make sure they know this is what they need to do, on May 15 thousands of us will be making yellow flowers - a symbol of hope & solidarity - with petals covered in words that spell out what climate justice means to us, and our communities. 

We will take selfies with our flowers, and flood the internet and our homes with our images to ensure that in these testing times, climate justice flowers rather than corporate greed and the mining and burning of coal, oil and gas.

Here’s how you can start making your flower to show that everywhere, we are standing up to demand Governments put climate justice first not coal, oil and gas companies. 

Imagine thousands of climate justice selfies being shared across Australia painting a picture of a vision of a world free of climate catastrophe. Imagine a world of clean air, clean water and healthy communities. It would powerfully question the government’s plans to help out their mates in the fossil fuel industry with our taxpayer money.
