I am a Kurd, and this issue is deeply personal to me. The Kurdish people, spread across Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria have long been denied their basic rights and recognition. Despite being one of the largest ethnic groups without a state of their own - estimated at 30-40 million worldwide - we Kurds face cultural suppression, political marginalization, and even violence.

The plight of my people is not widely recognized or understood. We are often caught in geopolitical struggles that ignore our aspirations for self-determination. For instance, in Turkey alone there are approximately 15 million Kurds yet we are still denied basic cultural rights like education in our mother tongue.

This petition seeks to raise awareness about the struggles faced by us Kurds and calls upon international organizations such as United Nations to recognize our plight and take concrete steps towards ensuring our rights are protected.
