Few of us are brave enough to ask the hard questions, and those who are, often face persecution, spurious legal threats and attempts at intimidation.

One man is never afraid to ask the questions we all have, but are too afraid to ask, and in the world of road running, that is Stuart Mann, aka The Running Mann.

Stuart has recently raised some serious, but valid criticism of the Two Oceans Marathon and various persons involved with it, sent a list of very comprehensive and valid questions (which can be found here https://runningmann.co.za/2025/04/17/two-oceans-2025-questions-for-the-board/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR7gnxUxIyACTcRTMhqpIS3o3oZ7Id9YGKi_vFPqZBI0U_gbofuODqxGBZMZ5Q_aem_4smZs402EKJs-QRtMzoUZQ and for his trouble and bravery, received lawyers letters and demands from not only the Two Oceans Marathon NPC, but its chair Toni Cavanagh as well.

This petition calls upon all athletes and running supporters to:

1. support and back the list of questions posed by Stuart, which to this date no one has even bothered to answer; and
2. Call for any and all legal threats and action against Stuart to be stopped immediately and for the Two Oceans Board to actually do the ethical and transparent thing and answer the questions posed.
