First, thank you. Your support—through signatures, shares, and passion—has already made a real impact. Because of you, over 15,000 people have joined this call for compassion, and City leadership has backed off—for now—from pursuing lethal action against Key West’s chickens.

I want to clarify something important:
If you donated through Change.org, that money does not go to me or anyone affiliated with the petition. Donations on their platform go directly to Change.org, which uses those funds to promote the petition, boost its visibility through ads, and help other grassroots organizers create real change—just like we did here.

I never asked for money in the petition, and if I ever do need support in the future for community-based initiatives, I promise to be fully transparent about where it’s going and why.

Your donations are still helping. They’re fueling a platform that gave this issue a voice—and that gave me, and all of you, a way to stand up and be heard.
