Support the Pacific Palisades Towne Hall project
The Issue
Palisades Towne Hall began as a simple idea, a community center and beer garden built to bring our community back together to tackle the issues we face in rebuilding the Pacific Palisades.
This vision has clearly captured the hearts and minds of our community, as evidenced by the overwhelming support for our crowdfunding campaign. We've accomplished so much in a mere 4 months since launching our Pledge campaign - full site buildout, landscaping and storage containers that are ready for business. This is a testament to the strength and commitment of the Palisades community and a recognition of how few commercial services we have almost two years after the fires.
But, to reach the full vision of Towne Hall, we need to be open and operating - generating revenue and profits to sustain the effort and then using the additional proceeds to fund the best rebuilding efforts with the most impact in bringing our town back.
The next crucial step: obtaining the necessary operating permits from City Planning and the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). These permits are the only thing keeping Towne Hall from being open for business and available to the community. Without them, all our efforts and the community's generous contributions might be thwarted.
We have our public hearing with City Planning on November 10th and we need as much community support as possible to support this innovative business model and use case.
