After 23 years operating at the corner of 19th and Mission Street as a full service restaurant, live entertainment venue and community gathering space, Little Baobab will be moving and opening just around the corner on Mission Street between 18th and 19th Street for a new location under the name “Big Baobab”!

This comes at a time when the climate of our city and country is in troubled times, surviving through COVID 19, and at our new location, we will seek to build and expand our international community through food, music and dance as we have for so many years.

In order to make this a thriving success, it will take a village and the support of our entire community, from our immigrants to our elected officials, from our musicians and our patrons, to make this a reality. We seek to make this a thriving community space that the whole Mission will benefit from, and be a key institution in revitalizing the Mission Street corridor.
