Support the licensing agreement and buildout of our indoor climate controlled sports park

The Issue

Our family has been long-time residents of Miami, Florida. We love our community and have always sought ways to contribute positively to it. One such way was through our $10 million donation toward the construction of an indoor climate controlled sports park in 150 NE 19th ST in the heart of the City of Miami. This project is more than just a building; it's about fostering community spirit, promoting physical health, and providing a safe space for our children to play.

Miami is home to hundreds of thousands of residents with diverse backgrounds who could greatly benefit from this facility. It would not only provide an all-weather venue for various sports activities but also serve as a hub for community events.

Regular physical activity can help keep your thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as you age. It can also reduce your risk of depression and anxiety which is becoming more prevalent in the younger generation.

However, Miami's unpredictable weather often hampers outdoor activities. The proposed indoor climate controlled sports park would address this issue by providing an all-weather facility that encourages regular physical activity among residents of all ages.

We urge our Commissioners to support this initiative that promises numerous benefits for our community’s health, well-being, and social cohesion while contributing positively toward youth development.

Please sign this petition if you believe in the power of sport as a tool for positive change within communities like ours here in Miami. My family and I have agreed to pay for all improvements to the park and all operating costs for the park and the City of Miami would retain all ownership over the park and its improvements.
