My name is Jackson Dumas, and together with Iman Ansari and Patrick O'Keefe, we are senior students committed to bettering our experience at Tamalpais High School. We are reaching out to you for help in resolving a decades-long issue that substantially affects all sports programs at our school - the inadequate field lighting at our Sam Chapman Field.

During the early sunset months of November, our athletic programs endure curtailed practice timings due to the insufficient illumination offered by our old generator field lights. This is especially a hindrance for football training and affects overall performance. Upgraded stadium lights would significantly improve our practice efficiency, enhancing our training experience, and ultimately, our performance.

By investing in new field lights, we assure brighter, longer, and safer training sessions for all students partaking in sports activities at Sam Chapman Field.

This cause is not just a personal crusade, but one that affects every student athlete utilizing the field at Tamalpais High School.
