Several members of the family court staff , and local attorneys, have secretly provided information to the media that shows Santa Clara Family Court Judges routinely violating local rules, misusing public and federal funds and abusing their legal power and process to harm immigrants, children and the poorer citizens of in Santa Clara County, one of the wealthiest parts of the United States. Court staff members have revealed that when Family Court Judges don't like particular litigants or attorneys, they instruct court staff to violate the law, misuse court resources and engage in misconduct themselves with favored attorneys. Staff members have reported that the county has even allowed their public information officers, legal counsel and managers to engage in conduct that clearly seeks to make certain some litigants and attorneys will never get a fair hearing in Santa Clara County. Unable to tolerate the injustice, family court staff members have independently reached out to contact the media, while seeking to remain anonymous, for fear of retaliation and job loss from the judges who are ultimately their bosses. Judge Scott's misconduct in criminal court was reported by the Santa Clara County's own DA. Maybe it is time for the DA to start looking at similar conduct of judges in the county's family court system. The DA's office should start with Mary Ann Grilli, James Towery and their boss Rise-Pichon.
