The decline of independent newspapers in the U.S., and increase of large media groups, that have little connection or interest in local communities, has led to loss of oversight and transparency in our local governments and judicial system. Santa Clara residents have taken to blogs and online media for help , trying to voice concerns over local judges like Mary Ann Grilli and James Towery. These judges have denied access of media to family courts in Santa Clara County for decades, deflecting media attention away from conduct that impacts thousands of local residents and tax payers each year. But times are changing. An independent media group, known mainly for online blogs and websites, has filed a media request and is investigating Santa Clara's family courts for denying family law litigants due process, and exhibiting extreme judicial abuse to chill the most fundamental rights of litgigants trapped in divorces or probate cases, where Judge Grilli appears to protect favored lawyers more than the litigants before her. Judge Grilli has single handedly destroyed more families , violated more civil rights and taken more private property , than any other judge in Santa Clara County. The investigation is on. If the county and the state won't audit Grilli, the media will likely do a better job. The media is here and Judge Grilli will have alot to explain for a record she has built over decades where she has had no qualms taking children , property and protected rights of Santa Clara County's citizens.
