Jane and John Q Public, with the help of Whistleblowers involved in divorce and probate matters have uncovered systemic fraud, waste and misuse of federal funds in Santa Clara County's family court system. The group has collected thousands of documents and done hundreds of hours of research that indicates judges and court staff have been engaging in unlawful conduct that serves to particularly harm the county's immigrants, poor , disabled, and children. And that constitutes nothing more than stealing of private, public and federal funds. The county is not only engaged in fee abuse , but judges appear to be routinely providing " kickbacks" to a select group of highly paid lawyers, paid millions of dollars in discretionary fee awards and sanctions , as the other side is compelled to be is self represented, and unable to pay a lawyer.
