Support the Inclusion of Squash in the Olympic Games from 2028 Onwards

The Issue

The Issue
I am a squash athlete, and this sport has shaped my life and the lives of countless others. Squash is a discipline that demands exceptional physical and mental strength. It's a sport played by millions worldwide, and yet, it is persistently overlooked as a discipline within the Olympic Games.

According to the World Squash Federation, 50,000 courts exist in the world, with 20 million people regularly playing the sport in over 185 countries (World Squash Federation). It is time for the attributes of endurance, agility, strategic play and extreme fitness demonstrated by squash athletes be recognized on the world's largest sporting stage: the Olympic Games.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has the power to change this. The inclusion of squash in the Olympic Games from 2028 onwards will pave the way for celebrating a sport that has touched the lives of so many. It will also provide greater opportunities for athletes and further push the boundaries of international sports.

We call upon the IOC to include squash as a permanent fixture in the Olympic Games starting from 2028. Acknowledge the commitment and talent of millions of squash players and fans around the world. Sign the petition and let's make Squash an Olympic sport.
