The Issue

We, the tour guides of Dodger Stadium, are asking for your support as we fight for fair treatment, livable wages, and respect on the job. Despite being the lowest-paid workers at the stadium earning just $17.28 an hour we are the faces and voices of one of the most iconic ballparks in the country. USA Today even recognized our tours as some of the best in Major League Baseball.

While the Dodgers organization continues to raise prices on tickets, parking, concessions, merch, and tours, we the very people who help generate that revenue receive none of it. Our wages remain stagnant, our working conditions remain tough, and our voices have gone unheard.

We work tirelessly in extreme heat, often in temperatures soaring over 100 degrees, without any form of inclement weather pay. We are required to work holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the Fourth of July with no holiday pay while being denied the basic dignity of rest on days most Americans spend with their families.

Now, after forming a union to advocate for our rights, the corporation is threatening to take away the limited benefits we currently have punishing us for standing together. We are not asking for the moon. We are simply demanding fair compensation, safe working conditions, and protection of the modest benefits we’ve already earned.

Dodger Stadium tours bring in millions of dollars in revenue each year, and we are proud of the work we do. It’s time we’re treated with the respect we deserve.

Please sign this petition in solidarity with us, and help us send a message loud and clear: Dodger Stadium tour guides deserve better.
