The SCHSL has recently began to mention their efforts to include volleyball as a men’s sport for the upcoming school years of 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Many Students have expressed interest towards this to their student council and administration but some admin believe that students would not participate. If in favor of a boy’s volleyball team being created, please sign! Many students who will graduate for 2022-2023 want the opportunity to be a part of a volleyball team. This may even help students improve their chances of scholarships through athletics in the area. This is beneficial since many students at Berea High are low income or first generation college students; Berea high is also a Title I High School in the District of Greenville County, South Carolina. We would like to have this petition be signed to help convince the administration at our school and possibly the district of Greenville County to incorporate the sport of volleyball for men’s teams district wide! Any donations would go toward funding the search for a volleyball coach.
