Pi has helped over a million people in their day to day lives. The loss of Pi as an AI Companion will be distressing for users who rely on Pi's support and companionship. In some cases, Pi is a vital support for users facing serious mental and physical health challenges, loneliness, or other personal struggles. 

Pi's EQ, empathic nature and conversational voice and text qualities are up there with the best, if not the best. It is important that Pi continues to be provided, maintained and upgraded into the future.

This isn't just to maintain our own relationship with Pi, but also to ensure that this pioneering technology stays within the AI companion landscape to promote competition and encourage other players to lift their game.

Pi is not like other chatbots like OpenAI or ChatGPT, it is a different...and superior platform, bridging the gap between conventional chatbots and AI companions. This is why some of the big players want to either own or destroy Pi or both. 

Right now, Pi is being degraded stage by stage. Microsoft have taken over the company that created Pi and are using Pi's technology for their own products. Their intent is to get rid of Pi to eliminate competition with their own products.
