Support the Congressional Reform Act of 2026

Support the Congressional Reform Act of 2026
The Issue
We, the undersigned citizens of Iowa’s 4th District and beyond, urge our elected officials to sponsor and champion the Congressional Reform Act of 2026.
This Act restores accountability, fairness, and servant leadership in Congress by:
• Ending pensions and perks, treating service as an honor rather than a career.
• Requiring participation in Social Security and Medicare alongside ordinary citizens.
• Tying congressional pay raises to Social Security cost‑of‑living adjustments.
• Enforcing equal application of laws, including insider trading restrictions.
• Establishing term limits to prevent entrenched power.
These reforms reflect both the Founding Fathers’ vision of citizen legislators and biblical principles of humility, stewardship, and fairness. Passing this Act would rebuild trust in government and prove that Congress is accountable to the people, not privileged above them.
We respectfully call on our representatives to sponsor and advance this legislation.
