Let's make a change My name is Eli and I'm campaigning for better Mental Health. To many people are affected and not able to access services, so many people need help, Charmaine McGavigan was also personally affected by the lack of mental health support in our community. Too many people, including those close to me, struggle with their mental health and do not receive the help they need. Services are understaffed, assessments aren't conducted quickly enough, and help isn't available around the clock. This is why i am launching a campaign from Old Millstone to prevent suicide in Macclesfield.

I invite individuals, communities, organisations and businesses to show their support by signing this petition. By doing so, you're showing that you're willing to support those in your life who may be struggling with mental health issues.

In England alone, one person dies every two hours due to suicide (source: Mental Health Foundation). In Macclesfield specifically, we've seen an alarming increase in suicide rates over recent years (source: Office for National Statistics). This is a crisis we cannot ignore any longer.
