The Issue

We’re on a mission to bring something bold and new to Harrisburg — a professionally installed, eco-friendly outdoor turf training space, complete with a new ramp and walkway, right along the riverfront at Triple P Fitness. This isn’t just about fitness. It’s about building community. The turf and walkway will create a clean, safe, and fully accessible outdoor space for strength training, athletic programs, and small group workouts — something the city has never seen before.

To move forward, we’re required to get approval from the City of Harrisburg’s Zoning Hearing Board through a Special Exception — because we’re making exterior changes to the building and grounds that aren’t automatically permitted under the current zoning. Our hearing is scheduled for August 18, and we need to show strong community support before then. This hearing will determine whether our vision is approved or denied.

As the owner of Triple P Fitness, I’ve seen firsthand how fitness builds confidence, strength, and opportunity — not just for individuals, but for families and entire communities. We’re building more than just a turf space — we’re building a home base for Harrisburg to move, train, and grow together.

We believe in creating space for people to move, train, and connect — outside, year-round, and right here in our city. The new ramp and walkway will make it fully ADA accessible, and we’re funding the entire project privately — we’re simply asking for the city’s permission to bring this vision to life.

We love this city and want to give it something to be proud of a one-of-a-kind outdoor training environment that brings people together and keeps Harrisburg moving forward. Sign and share if you believe in this vision and support the approval of this project.
