Support the Amendment of the Civil Rights Act to Include Mixed Race Individuals

The Issue

As the mixed race population in the United States rapidly grows, it's imperative that our unique challenges are acknowledged and addressed at a legislative level. Multiracial children and adults navigate complex identities and face unique sets of prejudices that are not sufficiently addressed by current legislation.

From micro-aggressions within our own racial groups to feelings of alienation, and a lack of representation in inclusive communities, especially in workplaces, our experiences often go unrecognized. This can have significant impacts on mental health and well-being.

Research is already underway, with institutions like UCLA conducting studies to push this effort forward. Although I have decades worth of lived experience, I, too, have started my own independent research to collect quantitative & qualitative data and am raising awareness every chance I get. But we need your support to make a difference!

Please join us in our call to amend the Civil Rights Act and the EEOC investigative guidelines and to explicitly recognize and address the unique circumstances faced by mixed race individuals.

Your signature could be the key to unlocking a future where mixed race individuals are recognized, understood, and protected under the law.

Thank you for your support and for standing with us in this crucial movement. Please be sure to share within your family, friends, and social networks.

Best,
