I live directly across from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Centre on Sideroad 10.

With regard to the AMJ Annual Convention, I have nothing but good things to say.  It is such a well organized event, and everything runs so smoothly.  I can't think of a single detail the organizers overlook.  

Yes, there was extra traffic, but we see this kind of thing when Highway 400 reroutes for whatever reason, so it was no problem, plus the police were there over the course of the weekend to direct and organize traffic.

Our lives were not disrupted in the slightest, our cell phone service remained the same, there was no interference or dropped calls.  

I can say with absolutely no hesitation at all that the members of the Centre are THE best neighbours I've ever had.  We are invited to visit and have meals and partake in apple picking and many other events that they host.  While the AMJ Convention is a private event, we are always invited to attend.  

I feel that the Convention is an asset to the Town as it brings in many visitors to our area and businesses.  The participants are friendly and welcoming to everyone of every faith.  What more could be asked of them?  In a world of uncertainty, their profound message of "Love for All, Hatred for None"  is not just something that is said, it is something that is lived every day.

Please approve their application for the 2025 AMJ Annual Convention, and please read my email in the council meeting with my name and address.
