The World Cube Association (WCA) has recently declared its intention to rename Taiwan as "Chinese Taipei." This change, under the guise of aligning with international standards, threatens political impartiality. This petition aims to amass global support and call on the WCA to re-evaluate its decision as it threatens Taiwan's sovereignty and identity. 

The inappropriate label of "Chinese Taipei" is forced upon Taiwan in certain international settings due to political tensions. It is not only factually incorrect, but seems to ignore the sustained and overwhelming evidence of Taiwan's national identity - its democratic governance, vibrant culture, and the pride of its more than 23 million citizens.

As a non-political organization, WCA should refrain from involving itself in international politics and focus on its mission – organizing puzzle game events and promoting friendly competition. 

The name "Chinese Taipei" is not neutral; it significantly erodes Taiwan's visibility in the international community.

由於政治壓力，將“中華台北”的不適當標籤強加於台灣在某些國際場合。這不僅事實上不正確，而且似乎無視台灣國家身份的廣大且明確的證據 - 它的民主治理，充滿活力的文化，以及超過2300萬公民的驕傲。

作為非政治組織，WCA應避免涉足國際政治，專注於其使命 - 組織益智游戲活動和推動友好的競爭。

“中華台北”的名稱並非中立；它大大侵蝕了台灣在國際社會中的能見度。
