There are over 1 million students in primary and secondary education across Victoria and it is crucial that our voices are heard when decisions are made about  education. Students are tough and resilient and we have the right to be heard. 

Victorian Student Representative Council is the peak body representing school-aged students in Victoria and plays an important role in elevating the concerns, ideas and experiences of what education is like for children and young people. 

We, the students of Victoria as signed below, want candidates in the Victorian election to engage with VicSRC on all things related to our education. We also expect the successful government to continue to engage with VicSRC to make sure our voices and heard loud and clear. 

We are calling for candidates to commit to: 

1. Establishing a student-led mental health task force 

2. Funding for all schools in Victoria to access VicSRC's Teach the Teacher program 

3. Engage and consult with students on all education decisions.
