UPDATE: Last night, the Planning and Zoning Commission provided a few key updates on the proposed cell tower:

• A third party study is being conducted, at the developer's expense, to evaluate the need for the proposed tower.
• Once that study is complete, the Planning and Zoning Commission will reconvene to vote on the proposal - they anticipate to vote at their January 8 or February 12 meeting.
• In response to some objections, the developer has agreed to: (1) reduce the height of the tower by 15 feet; (2) adjust setbacks; (3) increase the height of fences around the property; and (4) incorporate a pine tree style for the tower.
• The Commission noted they received two petitions: one with 103 signatures in opposition to the tower, and one with over 130 in support (that's ours)!

So what can you do next?

2. Write the Planning and Zoning Commission directly: Emails may be sent directly to Lynn Walkuski (lwalkuski@townofglenville.org).
3. Save the date: The Board is likely to decide on this proposal on either Monday, January 8 or Monday, February 12.
