Shrewsbury House Community Centre would like to take on the management of Green Garth (28 Mereworth). We would like to use the space positively for the whole community. Green Garth sits adjacent to Shrewsbury House, and actually forms part of the original Shrewsbury House site, but unfortunately is currently in a state of managed neglect.

Our vision is to take on this land and transform it. Stage one would involve creating a community garden for everyone to enjoy and an allotment space for our fork to plate cafe project. Stage two would transform the building into a space for community activities and classes, giving us much needed accessible space for our current and potential new users.
