Tonight the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners is going to vote on HOUSE BILL 31 - Baltimore City – Weapons on School Property – School Resource Officer. This is the SAME bill we fought back on in 2015, just with a new name. In October, the school board had a forum to hear the community's thoughts on the bill. Then this bill was somehow left out of the Legislative Agenda the school board voted on in a previous meeting. But it is on tonight's agenda.

We still have time to stop this bill! The School Board needs to hear from you. Please email Schoolboard@bcps.k12.md.us and ask them to OPPOSE House Bill 31! Copy your state delegate and let them know as well. Or show up at tonight's school board meeting and testify in person!
