Dear everyone,

As we are drawing into the final phrase just before we bury the corpse of good practice at Sainsbury's, I have a final favour to ask of all you wonderful people.

Influenced by all the marvellous comments I am asking you to join in a day of official mourning for the old Sainsbury's contract by not shopping there at all on Sunday 23rd September, the day the new contract starts, and encouraging your friends and family to join in with the vigil as well as by sharing the following text on Facebook and Twitter.

I’m boycotting @Sainsburys on Sunday 23rd September in support of the 9,000 longstanding staff set to lose up to £3,000 per year under shocking new contracts for shop floor staff being implemented this weekend. Learn more here: change.org/notinthemoney #workwellforless
