Happy Monday Everyone,

Thank you all so much for your support of the Pine Street Paving 2025 Petition. A large group of us attended Manchester's Board of Mayor and Alderman (BMA) meeting on Tuesday, May 20th, to speak during the public comment session in support of the repaving of Pine Street.

Click Here for a great summary of the meeting by community member Jeff Rogers.

Due to your signatures and the media coverage we've received because of your support, and everyone at the May 20th BMA Meeting, it appears we've made an impact. Afterwards, several Alderman spoke in favor of the bike lade addition.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Official action on this matter will be on tomorrow's (JUNE 3) BMA Agenda. Prior to this meeting, the Public Safety, Health, and Traffic Committee is expected to "untable" the issue, and it will then move forward to a vote at the BMA meeting following.

After speaking with members of the Public Safety, Health, and Traffic Committee, it is expected that things will pass in full, in favor of Pine Street paving, on June 3.

I will certainly send you all another update after the June 3 Meeting. BMA meetings are always open for observation, so you can feel free to attend in person if you want to be there for the vote, or watch it on Manchester Public Television.

BMA and Committee Meeting Minutes and Agendas can be found here.
