I just left a meeting with a group supporting Councilor Kit Collins' rent stabilization proposal and there will be more ways to support coming soon.  For now, we are hoping to educate as many residents of Medford as possible and identify supporters.  Please share the petition with 5 people in Medford - family, friends, or neighbors. Every signature counts!  

Second, there is a rally in Boston on May 15 at 12:30 PM to lift the ban on rent control and raise the minimum wage.  Meet at the MLK Embrace Statue on Boston Common.  I learned about it from City Life Vida Urbana, the same group that helped residents at 208 Main Street form a Tenants Unions and fight to stay in their homes earlier this year.  They are hoping to send a message to the legislature to take action now.
