As parents and community members in Atwater, CA, we are deeply invested in the welfare and education of our children. This includes retaining admirable leaders like Principal Nunes who has had an immeasurable impact on our students throughout the district. Many students have already benefited greatly from the educational environment fostered by Principal Nunes. A single instance of disagreement over a minor rally should not eclipse his contributions and dedication.  To terminate an effective leader based on an isolated incident questions the priorities set by the decision-makers. We, as a community, believe in fair treatment, dialogue, and measured decisions. With this petition, we aim to bring attention to our plight and advocate for Principal Nunes to be allowed to continue serving our students.
