HELP SUPPORT MRS. DIANE GUARINO’S NON- RENEWAL OF CONTRACT PETITION.

HELP SUPPORT MRS. DIANE GUARINO’S NON- RENEWAL OF CONTRACT PETITION.
Why this petition matters

OUR BELOVED PRINCIPAL DIANE GUARINO'S LIFE FELL OUT BENEATH HER THIS WEEK. WHEN SHE WAS INFORMED BY OUR MEDFORD ADMINISTRATION THAT HER CONTRACT WAS NOT BEING RENEWED FOR NEXT YEAR -- for NO REASON!
Imagine the job you were once quoted saying, “I found my home. I’m going to be here until I retire at the age of 80." was all of sudden being taken away from you. Even though you have never once received any type of a warning, or negative complaint in all the years you have been employed at a school. Or even worse, not even being provided with a valid reason as to why the school was suddenly not renewing your contract? Well this is what's happening to our admired principal Guarino right now!
THIS WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Even if you don't necessarily have a child at McGlynn Elementary. Just think, THIS is how Medford's school administration handles their talent management, and Mrs. Guarino is one extremely talented individual, someone we absolutely would want to keep in our district. So if this is how they treat someone like Mrs. Guarino, well that's a scary thought. Scary thought for every child in the MPS district, wouldn't you think?
Mrs. Guarino is loved by so many in our community. She has given 43 years of her career dedicated to Medford Public Schools – all for what? To be tossed away in her final years of her career, like she means nothing?
Teachers, staff, parents AND students want to pack the city council chambers for Mondays, April 11th School Committee meeting at 5:30PM!! Please JOIN US!
Mrs. Guarino needs all the support she can get right now. These people won’t stop until they literally get rid of every single person that has dedicated YEARS to this community who does not follow their agenda.
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD - CAREGIVERS, TEACHERS, PARENTS & CHILDREN! MRS. GUARINO DOES NOT DESERVE THIS!
Mrs. Guarino is clearly someone who is very qualified for her job, respected by her colleagues, and loved by SO many parents and children in our community…
SO WHY IS THE SUPERINTENDENT NOT RENEWING HER CONTRACT THEN? We have the slightest clue…All we know is Mrs. Guarino is devastated -- and so are we, right with her! That's why we are asking, if you could PLEASE HELP US right this incredibly bad WRONG!
Mrs. Guarino’s professional feedback over her 43 year career with MPS has been tremendous! She has an outstanding amount of widespread support from the parent body, and is well loved by her students and staff. She brings a phenomenal combination of practical business experience and a wealth of classroom teaching experience, which is a boon to both the faculty and children that constitute the building.
Mrs. Guarino’s commitment to the students is far beyond reproach, and she has put in countless hours of her own time for our children over the years! Please sign this petition so Mrs. Guarino can try to keep the job she loves the most. The job that she is undeniably amazing at.
Here are the emails to some of our school officials and city leaders. If you are like us, and don’t like to see GOOD PEOPLE be treated POORLY, please help us, by not only signing this petition, but by also emailing these individuals, and telling them THIS ISN’T RIGHT -- MRS. GUARINO DESERVES BETTER!

News article comments from Principal Diane Guarino’s First Day at the McGlynn Elementary!
“I spent all four years of my co-op at Northeastern in Medford, I was a student taught in Medford and my first job was in Medford,” Guarino says, with a laugh. “I never left! I never want to be anywhere else. This is my home.”
